BOXING BETTING
Over the years, at least during the last century, no sport has suffered the type of public decline that boxing betting has. It used to be that boxing betting as the hottest ticket around. But that is hardly the case any more as boring betting seems to have fallen by the wayside in terms of public opinion and among the minds of sports bettors. It used to be that there was no single event in all of American sport that could even rival boxing betting. It also used to be that boxing betting was the one sport that seemed to unite the American sports fans. But those days are long gone, nothing but a distant memory etched into the record time and its impression seems to be fading faster every day. Just as human’s sports have a shelf life and sadly, it appears that boxing betting has reached the end of its time.
The critics and pundits have been railing for years about the death of boxing betting, but for some reason this time the calls seem more urgent than they have at any other time in history. The thing that really calls the attention of the boxing betting experts or the few boxing betting fans that remain is the fact that there are no young boxers in the pipeline. That is to say there is no young boxers coming up the ranks that have really got the boxing betting community wagging their tongues. The great hope that springs eternal in every other sport and has sprung eternal in boxing betting for centuries suddenly has run dry.
And so if it sounds as if it is the melancholy end of era, and the death of boxing betting, that’s because it is. There is likely no way that boxing betting will ever return to the lofty perches that it once inhabited. There are the idealists and the dreamers of the boxing betting world who are hoping against hope that the glory days will return, but in their hearts, even they know that this is nothing more than wishful thinking. And it’s apparent to one and all that care to look, that boxing betting is dead.
